Curriculum

Shallowford Presbyterian School offers a challenging, balanced curriculum that encourages exploration and discovery.  Our classrooms are student-centered and focused on developing critical thinking skills.  Our small class sizes allow our teachers to customize instruction in order to meet the diverse needs of our learners.  Every child is unique, which is why SPS believes in nurturing the whole child physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively and spiritually.

Each class has weekly specials including library, music, P.E., Spanish, and art, as well as daily recess on one of our three age-level appropriate, tree-shaded playgrounds. SPS also has a computer lab where our older students learn typing, research, and play class-appropriate learning games.
