At SPS we believe that all children grow and develop at different rates through different learning styles. Children are given the opportunity to explore, create, and problem solve with materials that are developmentally appropriate.
Our theme-based curriculum allows our teachers to develop unique and creative learning environments. Lesson plans are developed according to specific, grade-appropriate objectives addressing the whole child with the goal of establishing a foundation for learning to last a lifetime while fostering a sense of self and social caring.
K-8 Grade School
Literacy
SPS maintains a large library full of interesting books, which students can check out during school hours. We feature an Author of the Month and guest readers share the author's books each week to every class. Often special book characters come for a visit or special activity. We also celebrate Read Across America Month with a reading marathon and special guest readers, host a Read-A-Thon, and have two book fairs per year.
Day-to-Day
SPS promotes center-based learning in the classroom. Students take part in small-group, whole-class, and individualized instruction throughout the school day.
In addition to math and ELA blocks, creative science lessons, and social studies, weekly specials include Spanish, art, music, PE, Christian education, library, and social-emotional learning. Each class gets a full 30 minutes of recess daily.

After School Opportunities
SPS is happy to offer daily aftercare from 3:00-6:00. Aftercare attendees get homework help, free-play time, and playground time.
Morning care is also available beginning at 7:30 AM.
In addition to our aftercare program, we also partner with local programs to bring fun and exciting after school acitivites to our campus!
We currently offer creative movement/dance, chess club, gymnastics, martial arts, and soccer but are always open to input from our students and families for programs that they'd like to see.
Tuition
SPS strives to keep tuition affordable. We're able to do so with the volunteer efforts of our amazing families and fundraising throughout the year.

($8,500/year) and 6-8 tuition is $1000/month ($10,000/year).
Tuition is split into three equal payments and due on the following schedule:
1/3 due upon enrollment
1/3 due August 8th, 2024 (first day of school)
1/3 due November 1st, 2024
